Danielle “Dani” Sardi

Dani is the co-owner of Mac Body Conditioning and has been teaching Pilates for fifteen years. She received her instructor certification through the JLBC Teacher Training Program and from 2006-2010 was a faculty member in the Program. Dani is certified through the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) and is currently completing an additional certification through the BASI Pilates ProBridge program as part of her longstanding commitment to continuing education.

Dani holds a Master of Science in Nursing from San Diego State University. She retired from nursing in 2014 after a very fulfilling twenty-seven year career. Her ownership of MACBC has brought her full circle and she’s enjoying sharing her knowledge and passion for Pilates. Dani has long been an advocate of holistic health care and the importance of the mind, body and spirit connection.

Shanna Timms

Shanna graduated from the University of San Diego, Magna Cum Laude honors. Dancing since the early age of 2, Shanna became a professional ballroom dancer after winning two national amateur titles. She is a world professional Quarterfinalist American Smooth dancer and fitness expert with over ten years of teaching experience. Shanna fell in love with Pilates while she trained in ballroom dance. Looking for a fitness routine to strengthen her core and lengthen her dance lines, she found Pilates to be the best workout for tone, stretch, balance and core stability. Inspired by her body’s own improvement, Shanna certified on all Pilates apparatus and started teaching Pilates throughout San Diego. With over 25 hours of Pilates teaching a week, she is very happy to be at the amazing MAC Body Conditioning, in her hometown of San Diego.

When Shanna is not teaching, you will likely see her with her two babies- Yorkies, Vasco and Bushmill, running around working on her new lifestyle/fitness blog and traveling to dance competitions with her students.

Shanna is certified in Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, NASN sports nutrition and has two ACE certifications, one for group and the other for personal fitness training.

Megan Heller

Megan grew up in northern Michigan and attended the University of Michigan where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in English and minored in Dance. So naturally, Megan became a Librarian and now a Pilates instructor.

Starting in 2013 Megan trained under Risa Sheppard and The Sheppard Method in  Los Angeles, CA. She later studied under Annette Petit in Telluride, CO and received her balanced Body comprehensive training. Megan co-owned a boutique fitness studio in Telluride where she lived for ten years. She now resides in Solana Beach and loves working at the MAC. When Megan is not teaching Pilates, she is either talking Pilates or on the beach with her husband and dog.

Jessica Reed

Jessica Reed has been teaching Pilates for the past 15 years in studios as well as privately. In 2002, after relocating from Boston she began her certification program under Julian Littleford. Jessica had the good fortune to be the sole pupil during her certification with Julian. Working alone with him provided her an in-depth insight into Pilates and Julian’s unique teaching method. Jessica’s background revolves around movement and the body. She has a BS in Dance, has been teaching dance classes for over 20 years, and joined her first of many professional dance companies in 1996. Jessica worked as a Pilates trainer under Julian at JLBC from 2002-2009. Shortly after having her first child, she left the studio to stay at home. Now two glorious children later, she is excited to be working at what continues to be the best Pilates studio in
San Diego.

Ranata Vicente

Renata Vicente was born and raised in Brazil where nature is a way of life. She grew up participating in many sports and has always enjoyed working hard in order to achieve a goal. In 2002, after she had her first child, she began training individuals as a personal trainer. In 2006, she decided she wanted achieve a higher level of certification and became certified through ACE (American Council on Exercise). In 2009, she began to train with Pilates and realized that Pilates was what she was missing in life. She decided that she wanted to share her new found awareness with her clients and now she also holds a Balance Body Comprehensive Pilates Certification. She fell in love with Pilates and she believes Pilates is a life style change not an exercise routine. Renata loves to dance and enjoy life to the fullest. When she is not training, she is spending time with her children and friends.
